Sri Lanta Resort Koh Lanta Krabi Thailand

Cube : very nice, if a bit expensive

We showed up as walk-ins as we were in Lanta, and wanted a nice place for boyfriend's 40th birthday. Whole resort is quite stylish, in a wallpaper magazine kind of way. Public areas were all very well done. Pool is beautiful, and big lawn next to ocean was great. Rooms were also very beautiful and simple bungalows - wood and white linens. There were some critters as the rooms are in the jungle (no sea views, unfortunately) - but overall was a very peaceful zen room. Breakfast was great, and abundant. Beach was clean and nice, but snorkeling is not great right in front of hotel (best to book a boat tour for amazing snorkeling). Then again, don't know anywhere else as nice in Lanta. Staff had trouble with English, which was unusual - as most other places we stayed (for less money) were better at that. Overall loved the place, and loved being there, but IS overpriced for Thailand. Can't help but recommend it!

Sri Lanta Resort Koh Lanta KrabiAlanin : Wow!!!

We stayed in the Sri Lanta for 4 nights and I can not say enough good about the place - a real haven on Koh Lanta. Everything from the staff, the fabulous design restaurant, the beach, the lounging grass area, the beautiful black tile pool, the bungalows and the overall relaxed atmosphere. We really came away with a feeling of having stayed in a wonderful THAI hotel as the design and finish of everything is Thai - which makes a special difference. For anyone wishing to stay in a great hotel then this place is for you, and for anyone wanting a magical Thai experience then this really is for you!!!!

Sri Lanta Resort Koh Lanta Pop : Loved this chilled out place...

We loved Sri Lanta. The restaurant is fantastic, the yoga amazing and the massages above anything else we have had in Thailand. The rooms, as mentioned in earlier reviews, are a little smelly (damp) but otherwise they are very authentic and comfortable. The bathroom (veranda room) was a little dissapointing as the shower wasn't the nicest but otherwise it was great. If you are not that fit then it can be quite a walk up to your room, especially if you are in a star path room. My only complaint is that they are not very forthcoming with information. When we checked in nothing was told to us about the morning yoga or anything else for that matter. We were basically shown the room and that was it. We had a great experience there although I got the feeling sometimes it can be a bit hit and miss. The staff however are friendly (although sometimes they struggle with English). If you do stay here I would highly highly recommend one of the aromatherphy massages. Sure it costs more than the manky ones on the beach but god its like 1000 times better.

Sri Lanta ResortHerm : Hideway, far from masses

Get away from crowds and explore ie. caves, waterfall, beaches. It is still very cheap. How about a cocktail on the beach with live fire-show for 120,-- bath.!!

Stayed at the Sri Lanta Hotel. A 4-star hotel. The bungalowas are very nice, but do not forget to bring a moskitonet with you. There are bugs..
The Spa is wonderful (Massage for 1.500,-- Bath) If you want it cheaper go to the beach. The Hotel is nice but there are more placec to stay where money and value are more in balance. Like Bamboo Bay or The Narima.

Sri Lanta Resort Koh Lanta Krabi Thailand Deff : I love this hotel

I absolutely love this hotel. I feel in love with Koh Lanta and with this hotel. We stayed here in November 2004 for 7 days in a cottage.
My partner and I loved it so much that we’re going back later this year for our honeymoon.
It's right on the beach, typically Thai, relaxing and beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous and simply decorated, on stilts on the hillside, very Thai in style with private outside bathroom.
You can see the most amazing sunset from your room (there's no TV's or radio in the rooms). There are 2 restaurants, a swimming pool, a great spa, a small library and a TV area.
Many day trips can be booked from the hotel for diving or island visits. Sport facilities are limited at the hotel but they do have a free yoga class daily.
The beach is really nice and along the beach there's loads of restaurants and bars and if you want to go to Saladan Town you can just rent a scooter and it takes about 25 minutes. And the staff, as in all Thailand are absolutely wonderful.
